Family Rescue Foundation
(Unverified non-profit organisation)
Family Rescue Foundation is a non-profit community based organization in Uganda. It offers hope to the most vulnerable families and individuals with a goal of improving their quality of life. Orphans, vulnerable children, and HIV victimized widows are just some of the individuals that are served through four programmatic initiatives focused on child sponsorship, HIV/AIDS Awareness, Rights to Education Awareness, Family Capacity Building and Womens Empowerment.
Over time, Family Rescue Foundation has become well-known and recognized for its ability to reach out to the most vulnerable, those who are brought from the streets and hopeless living conditions to Home Sweet Orphanage. This is a place where joy is a way of life and love is the ultimate focus. The facility currently consists of a single mud-brick building without electricity or running water, a small primary school and a church. Aid is provided to any child that comes to the doorstep.
The organisation runs programs such as:
- Orphanage
- AIDS Awareness
- Community development program
- Christmas Gift Program
